Last Call: Midwest Faculty Seminar is still accepting nominations for their next seminar:
Order and Liberty in the Information Age, January 15-17, 2015

"This seminar explores the tensions between order and liberty in our information age, as well as the ways in which the proliferation of social media and other forms of techno-sociality has changed how we think about the nature of information, ownership and control. In what ways have social media and other information technologies enabled the spread of otherwise isolated information? How have those same technologies complicated the way we understand the nature of privacy and the boundaries of government surveillance?" The full announcement is here.

Please contact facultydevelopment@knox.edu no later than Friday, December 26 if you are interested in being nominated for this seminar.

Any supplemental materials, such as new course syllabi or publications, also can be included.

New process: In an effort to support campus sustainability efforts via technology: using the exact same form as the current process, please click on this link to take you to a Google Forms version of the CV update. Responses can be entered directly into the boxes (no character limits) or information can be copied into the boxes. Once you have completed your CV update, please hit "Submit" and the form will automatically be sent to the Dean's office. If you have supplemental materials, such as new course syllabi or publications, please send them electronically to the Dean of the College's office—to Tammie Dillow (tadillow@knox.edu).
